Sugar bowl Challenge 8

Hope everyone enjoying the weekend!
I've been having a lazy morning and just made this card for the fantastic challenge they have over at The Sugar Bowl! Have you seen what they have as a prize! I am positively drooling over the sugary sweet stamps!

Have gone a bit mad for the lace, ribbons and pearls on here but love this modern/vintage mix at the moment. Click on the photos to get a better look as not so clear otherwise!

Had a moment of ickle inspiration as to what I could do with a tiny bit of lace left over! (Must find out where to get more!) Apologies if everybody has already thought of this anyway! I just thought it looked nice and wanted to share!

I twisted it round to make a pasta bow shape:

...and then finished it off with a prima flower, centred with an eyelet and adhesive pearl. Hey presto pretty flower with vintage twist!

For my card I used:
Sugar nellie stamp: Elisabeth Bell - my favourite!
K and Co - McKenna
Pink petticoat sentiment
lace and ribbon from stash
prima flower
eyelet
pearls (self adhesive)
Hope you all like!

Pink Petticoat Prize!

Hi everyone,
I picked up an extremely exciting parcel from the post office yesterday evening! My pink petticoat prize arrived! I only managed to get back in the car before I couldn't resist rummaging in to check out the ribbons inside! As you can probably tell from my blog title it is my pbsession in crafting.

Here is the cake stand the Lovely Liz sent me filled with the most gorgeous and varied selection of ribbons. I am really going to have to be strict and try not to spend my whole week crafting as I have loads of other stuff to do!

Just want to say thankyou Liz once again as it really put a smile on my face. Looking forward to making some cute cards with them all!

Here is the original post on the pink petticoat blog: click me!
