I do dread doing boys birthday cards but for once I think this one is ok! Click on the images to get a close up!
Here is how I did it!

Its your day stamp: hero arts

Pink Petticoat Prize!

Hi everyone,
I picked up an extremely exciting parcel from the post office yesterday evening! My pink petticoat prize arrived! I only managed to get back in the car before I couldn't resist rummaging in to check out the ribbons inside! As you can probably tell from my blog title it is my pbsession in crafting.

Here is the cake stand the Lovely Liz sent me filled with the most gorgeous and varied selection of ribbons. I am really going to have to be strict and try not to spend my whole week crafting as I have loads of other stuff to do!

Just want to say thankyou Liz once again as it really put a smile on my face. Looking forward to making some cute cards with them all!

I'm on a roll! Here is my second of the mothers day card stream! This week the challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge is brown+one colour:

This weeks challenge is to use any one of these three colour combos.
1) Brown + Pink
2) Brown + Blue
3) Brown + Green

I have decided to be strict and put myself out of my comfort zone and not use pink! I have chosen to base my card on brown+ blue and here is the result!

Here is what I used:

Papers: Pink petticoat solid colour over printed with sweet flourishes milk chocolate

so sweet DCWV

Magnolia stamp coloured with watercolours

berisfords ribbon

sizzix die for label edged with gold embossing powder with handwritten 'Mum'

Stickles glitter

Good luck everyone with the challenge, happy crafting!

Magnolia Vs Stampavie

After a couple of horrendous shifts at work I needed to restore some sanity so I made a card! The theme this week for Magnolia Vs Stampavie is mothers day so I thought this gorgeous image from Sarah Kay would do nicely! (Plus I need to make several so it might get me motivated to do more!)
My Mum is just going to adore this cute image:

Not sure about the whole distressed look as it is a new entity to me so you will have to tell me what you think!
I made this with:
K and Co papers
Sarah Kay stamp coloured with water colours
Black Ink for edging
corner punch
block card from stash
Tag: sizzix die with handwritten 'Mum'
ribbon from stash
Good luck everyone with this weeks challenge! Love looking at everyones entries and blogs there is so much inspiration out there and thaks to anyone taking the time out to look at mine too!
